Welcome to the food journal of two besties: Julia and Leah!

What began as a simple hobby--keeping track of food thoughts, recipes, and photos--has slowly grown into, what we foodies would consider, a massive piece of pie. So serve yourself a slice, and share with us our love of food, and of life.

I am a fresh University graduate, and I am heading to teachers college in the fall in Glasgow, Scotland! I love to cook, explore different cultures cuisines, and, well...eat! (Julia Child, anyone?) I enjoy cooking as naturally as possible with local, seasonal ingredients. I have an affinity for all things kitchen related, and could be caught starring at copper pots for inordinately long periods of time. However in addition to all things food, I'd also love to share with you my passion for faith, family, photography, and friends--just to name a few!

I am a 1st year University student in London Ontario (studying theology, until next year when I plan to run away to culinary school!) I am lactose, glucose, fructose and sucrose intolerant, but that does not stop me from cooking some of the healthiest tastiest food you can make! I also love to bake, but with my allergies, my baked goods are usually given to unsuspecting bystanders. I'm so excited to contribute to Pink Mixers and I can't wait to share my passion for cooking with you!
