you have to steam the milk with really good foam and then pour slowly so you get that dark coloured foam and then you kind of draw on it with the remaining foam for the white colour. It takes alot of practice but you should totally try it. I think s/he used a tooth pick though. For the faces and the buttons on the last one this person dipped a tooth pick in the dark foam and then drew those details on.
